Is the 4 ft by 6 ft big enough for a two-car garage?
It is the compact option. For a full two-car ceiling bay most customers choose the 4 ft by 8 ft platform; the 4 ft by 6 ft fits where the larger platform will not.
Does it need electrical work?
No. It is raised and lowered with a standard drill, so there is no motor and nothing to wire.
What ceiling height does it suit?
The manufacturer lists 8–14 ft ceilings with the appropriate drop. We measure at your install location and confirm the drop before ordering.
How much ceiling space does the smaller platform need?
The platform is 4 ft by 6 ft, about 24 square feet, plus clear room for its travel up and down. It suits single-bay ceilings and half of a two-car ceiling.
Can Redhawk supply and install it?
Yes. Redhawk orders the unit for your project, mounts it into ceiling framing, levels it and demonstrates raising and lowering it with your drill. The starting price shown is the installed price across the Oklahoma City metro.
What if my garage has a low opener rail or a sloped ceiling?
This model is listed for flat ceilings. Sloped or vaulted ceilings and low opener rails are not automatic fits — send photos of the ceiling, the door track and the opener and we confirm before ordering. Final eligibility depends on site conditions and structural suitability.
