4' × 8' platform · 700 lb capacity · 8 ft or 11 ft drop
The heavy-duty Storage Elevator. A platform held on steel cables lowers with a power drill, so bins and seasonal gear are loaded at waist height instead of from a ladder — then it goes back up out of the way.

Ceiling & Site Compatibility
Designed for flat garage ceilings. The drop option has to match the ceiling: the standard drop suits 8–11 ft ceilings, and the deeper drop covers taller garages up to about 14 ft. Your ceiling height must exceed the drop length. Sloped or vaulted ceilings, low door tracks and tight opener clearances are reviewed from photos first — they are not automatically workable.
Not every garage will work, and this page cannot confirm yours. Site conditions are reviewed before ordering, and if the garage is not suitable we say so before you pay for a product.
Professional Installation
Redhawk mounts the unit into the ceiling framing above the platform location, levels it, and demonstrates raising and lowering it with your drill before leaving. Two people are needed on site for the lift into position during installation.
• Ceiling framing, truss location and clear-height assessment before anything is ordered
• Clearance check against the garage door track, opener rail and door travel path
• Mounting, leveling and load check of the installed system
• A walk-through of how to operate and load it before we leave the property
Installation is limited to the Oklahoma City metro service area. There is no product-only checkout on this site.

Warranty: Two Separate Things
CeilingSAM publishes a limited lifetime warranty on the product itself; claims and coverage are the manufacturer's. That warranty does not cover installation labor or installation errors. Redhawk's workmanship terms for the install are stated in your written quote before purchase.

4' × 8' Storage Elevator PRO — Frequently Asked Questions
How is it raised and lowered?
With a standard power drill — an 18V drill with a 1/2 inch chuck works well. There is no built-in motor to burn out, and no wiring is involved.
Does it need an outlet or an electrician?
No. The system is mechanical, so no circuit, outlet or dedicated wiring is part of the purchase or the installation.
What does the 700 lb rating mean?
700 lb is the manufacturer rating for evenly distributed weight on the platform. Load it evenly and keep the heaviest items centered.
What ceiling height does this model need?
The manufacturer lists 8–14 ft ceilings across the two drop options, and the ceiling must exceed the drop length. We confirm the right drop for your garage from measurements taken at the install location.
Does the starting price include professional installation?
Yes. The installed starting price for the PRO covers the unit plus professional installation mounted into ceiling framing in the Oklahoma City metro, and your written quote states the final installed figure for your garage before anything is ordered. Final eligibility still depends on site conditions and structural suitability.
Can you install one I already own?
Installation-only work is quoted when you already have the hardware. Send the model plus photos of the ceiling, the door track and the opener — the drop length has to match your ceiling, and that is confirmed before scheduling.

CeilingSAM is a separate manufacturer. Redhawk Handyman Services supplies and installs its products locally; it does not manufacture them. Product specifications, load ratings and the manufacturer warranty are the manufacturer’s. Installation labor is Redhawk’s work and is covered by the workmanship terms in your written quote, not by the manufacturer warranty.
